Welcome to Behind Worship!
I am so blessed to be able to start this website. God has blessed my life beyond measure, and this is a little way of sharing the knowledge I have gained over the years. I invite you to learn, share, and grow together with me on this journey. Behind Worship is intended for Worship leaders, Tech teams, Music Ministers, Pastors, and anyone else who works in front of, or behind the scenes of ministry. Technology is ever changing, and the role it plays in worship changes daily. It is my goal to bridge the gap between worship and technology. My name is Matt Robertson, and welcome to Behind Worship.

Since middle school my life has been geared towards technology. From chapel services to weddings, I either ran sound or operated lights. Before my senior year of high school, I was given the opportunity to work for a video production company. I decided to be home-schooled my senior year and to begin working full time in duplication and editing. Then came five years as a photographer, followed by my current position in television production. While taking on full time positions I still managed to lead worship and serve on our church’s technology team. Throughout this time questions arose, and answers needed to be found. However, the resources were few and far between.
As I launch this website, I hope that it becomes a tool for worship leaders and techs of all denominations. I want this to be a place of dialogue and discipleship. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Email them to: matt@behindworship.com.
